Surfing on the Oregon Coast
June 1st, 2012 by InnkeeperIt’s almost summer and here on the Oregon coast, that means taking the time to enjoy the weather in the great outdoors. If you’re looking for something different this year, look no further than Northwest Women’s Surf Camps! Located just 15 minutes north of Arch Cape, NWSC in Seaside, Oregon offers classes for women and men of all skill ranges. The only thing requires from you is the ability to swim and the desire to learn.
Starting Saturday June 23rd, sign up for a one-day or weekend surf camp, led by qualified and passionate surf instructors. The one-day camp includes all necessary equipment, a catered lunch (with beverages and snacks), a morning Beach Yoga session, safety instruction, surf instruction with two in-water sessions, and a great goodie bag! “Weekenders” provide all of the same perks, but by adding a second day of surfing, students have an opportunity to build on new skills, learn more advanced techniques, and create a deeper bond with other participants.
All of the surf instructions are highly experienced and trained with over 100 years of surfing time between them. They have travelled all over the world and are certified in CPR, Lifeguarding, and First Aid.
Don’t want to surf alone? NW Women’s Surf Camps also offers getaway packages. Choose to surf the waters of Cannon Beach, Seaside, or Pacific City with your closest girlfriends! Enjoy morning yoga, an organic lunch, and hours of hands-on instruction with these all-inclusive packages. Guys won’t be left out – the Guys Getaway package has lunch options specifically catered to men. Take a break from the same old golf game and book a weekend with your friends that you won’t soon forget! After the camp, area activities and steak houses can be recommended.
