Stormy Weather Arts Festival Events
Held November 2-4, 2012, the Stormy Weather Arts Festival is a celebration of local art and creativity in and around Cannon Beach. A large variety of events and viewings are on the schedule.
Quickdraw and Silent Auction: Held at Surfsand Resort Friday evening, this event which kicks off the weekend of activities, is a festival highlight. Artists demonstrate their techniques, working for a full hour on a single painting, which will be finished and offered for sale during the weekend. Tickets for this event, which sells out every year, will be on sale beginning September 4th at the Cannon Beach Chamber office. Call 503-436-2623. The price is $55, or $99 for two, and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and two drinks.
Saturday Night Concert – An evening with the Curtis Salgado Band, 2012 Soul Blues Artist of the Year. “Triumphant, joyful blues-soaked R&B…one of the most soulful, honest singers ever” – Blues Review. Saturday, Nov. 3rd, 7:30 p.m. at the Coaster Theater.
